The Ex Chairman of the defunct Pension Reformed Task Force Team, Abdulrasheed Maina, collapsed on thursday during the resumed hearing in his N2bn money laundering trial, at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The sitting was regular for the hearing of the defendant’s no-case submission, following the shut of the prosecution’s case with 9 witnesses on Wednesday.
The defence lawyer, Anayo Adibe, was informing the judge, Justice Okon Abang, that his team was however to receive the records of proceedings requested from the court’s register when Maina’s collapse attracted attention from the dock.
Prison officers immediately rush to attend to him. Justice Abang said the court would rise for about 5 minutes.
